The Community Rec Center in Montrose seeks a Sports Official to officiate leagues and tournaments, enforce rules, and maintain fair play. You will help ensure participant safety and foster a positive environment while applying basic knowledge of sport rules and professional conduct.

The role requires evening and weekend availability, training is provided, and opportunities for advancement. Per-game pay and access to center facilities after 30 days are included.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• Experience playing or basic knowledge of various sports rules preferred.
• Training will be provided to those without experience.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Officiate games with honesty, integrity, and fairness.
• Understand, interpret, and enforce sport rules and regulations.
• Ensure sportsmanlike conduct and a safe environment for players, officials, and spectators.
• Differences may include diffusing intense situations with coaches and enforcing consequences such as technical fouls or ejections.
• Work collaboratively with other Officials, Facility Supervisors, and Program Coordinators to support program goals.
• Assist with site setup and takedown as needed.
• Attend required training.
• Provide basic first aid if necessary.
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding questions, concerns, or issues
