Gundersen Health System’s Onalaska Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Sports Medicine team. This .6 FTE role offers 24 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays, and travel to Winona Campus 1-2x every other week with mileage reimbursement.

You will greet patients, take vitals, prepare exam rooms, support providers, update charts, and assist with procedures and virtual visits. The position provides competitive pay starting at $21.34/hour plus benefits.

Formación

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN.
• High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification/BLS for healthcare workers. Certification within 15 months of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients with a warm, welcoming tone.
• Support providers in caring for patients with sports-related injuries.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with clinical procedures.
• Update patient information in charting systems.
• Take vitals.
