Join Our Team as a Sports Mat Painter (1st Shift) at Dollamur

Pay Range

$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

Work Hours

Mon-Fri: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Sat: 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
40 - 46 hours/week, with overtime available

Role Overview

No prior experience? No problem! We will train you. We are seeking detail-oriented individuals with a desire to learn and grow in a creative and hands-on environment. Your main responsibilities will include hand-painting logos, designs, and letters on large-scale sports mats, such as wrestling and martial arts mats.

Key Responsibilities

1. Frequently kneel or crawl on mats to paint logos, measure, and cut.
2. Prepare surfaces for painting, including assembling rolls and checking for defects.
3. Learn to read layouts and translate them into artwork with the help of an artist.
4. Ensure accuracy in dimensions, logo placement, and overall design.
5. Handle materials, move rolls, and prepare finished mats for packaging.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training provided.
• Must be detail-oriented, with good measurement skills.
• Ability to work on your feet and knees, lift up to 100 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work overtime and some weekends.
• Experience with hand tools and measuring devices is a plus.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting with physical activity including standing, kneeling, and lifting.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors.
• Use of visual focus for color matching and quality control.
