Sports Instructor - South County YMCA (Education)

The Sports Instructor is responsible for leading and instructing participants in sports activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Key responsibilities include:

1. Understanding the difference between discipline and punishment.
2. Obtaining necessary certifications and training promptly.
3. Attending and leading all scheduled classes.
4. Preparing and distributing report cards after each session.
5. Properly handling and adjusting equipment as needed.
6. Instructing the principles of sport and promoting YMCA values.
7. Maintaining a safe environment for all participants.
8. Managing children and participants in accordance with YMCA policies and values.
9. Completing administrative tasks accurately and on time.
10. Communicating clearly and effectively.
11. Performing equipment maintenance and other duties as assigned.
