Nestled in a cozy, historic Victorian home beside a flourishing orchard, Stepping Into Wellness is more than a clinic—it’s a healing hub in Oakland’s Laurel/Dimond District. We offer Acupuncture, Orthopedic Acupuncture, Nutritional and Herbal Consultations, and Wellness Counseling.

We’re on the hunt for a Sports & Injury Massage Therapist who is passionate about working with active bodies and repetitive use injuries, and who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.

Who You Are
Licensed and insured in the state of California

Specialized in Sports/Repetitive Use injuries—bonus points if you’re trained in ART, NMR, or NKT

Able to develop and communicate clear treatment plans

Ready to build a client base of 15+ sessions/week

Professional, reliable, organized—and just plain kind

Tech-friendly (we use JaneApp for our EHR)

A solid communicator who’s comfortable collaborating with a team

Interested in growing roots here—we’re looking for someone who isn’t juggling multiple group practices or solo ventures

Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic massage treatments with a focus on sports and injury recovery
Assess clients’ needs and create personalized treatment plans
Educate clients on the benefits of sports massage and provide recommendations for ongoing care.
Document sessions thoroughly and accurately in our EHR system (JaneApp)
Collaborate with our team of acupuncturists and wellness practitioners on patient care
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment space
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and colleagues
Arrive on time and stay on schedule for all appointments
Stay up to date on best practices, continuing education, and professional development
Uphold office protocols and contribute to the overall flow and harmony of the space
