Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain turf for all sports fields in the Gainesville City School System.
• Maintain irrigation and chemical stock for sports fields.
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools used in grounds work.
• Schedule bleacher and lighting inspections.
• Open gates and staff events; oversee field cleaning before/after events.
• Ensure restrooms, field house, concession stands and press box are clean.
• Supervise and schedule field maintenance crew; follow safety procedures.
