Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Sports Event Coordinator to plan, execute, and wrap up sporting events in and around Paarl. The role requires proactive coordination of logistics from concept to completion to deliver safe, on-budget experiences for participants and spectators.

You will plan venues, budgets, vendors, promotions, and on-site operations, collaborating with marketing and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery and post-event evaluation for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event coordination or management, ideally within the sports sector.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a meticulous and energetic Sports Event Coordinator to manage the planning, execution, and Wrap-up of various sporting events in and around Paarl. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, capable of coordinating all logistical aspects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that events are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget, providing an exceptional experience for participants and spectators alike.
