FanDuel Group is seeking a Data Science Manager for our Sports Modeling & Innovation team to tackle our most challenging sports modeling problems. You will build predictive models across data collection through results, price markets, and drive actionable insights with product, risk, and trading teams.

This role also manages and develops other data scientists. Minimum 5 years’ experience in data science or analytics, a numerate bachelor’s degree, and strong Python/R, SQL, Bayesian statistics are

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in data science, analytics or engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a highly numerate field or equivalent experience.
• Experience mentoring or managing other data scientists or analysts.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with Python/R and SQL.

• Develop, iterate, and productionize machine learning models to predict sports outcomes.
• Lead the data science team, collaborating with product, risk, and trading teams.
