Job summary

i9 Sports Chesterfield is seeking a part-time Sports Coordinator for flag football in Moseley, VA. You will support coach development, supervise game-day execution, and ensure a fun, safe, and educational environment for youth players.

You will empower volunteers, model good sportsmanship, and help run practices with focus on fundamentals while maintaining strong customer service and safety standards throughout the season.

Qualifications

Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems.
Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players.
Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships.
Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks).
Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values

Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator Flag Football is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.
