Job summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking a Communications Intern to join the Communications & Content team. The role focuses on writing, editing, media relations and PR skills, with duties on matchdays and in lead-up periods.

Based at the Mercy Health Training Facility in Milford and TQL Stadium during games, the internship runs through the 2027 Sprint Season with potential extension. You’ll gain hands-on experience in notes, statistics, press materials, and media operations, while contributing to corporate

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a service mentality when working with media.
• Always represent the club in ethical and professional manners.
• Fast typing and proofreading/editing skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and email platforms.

Responsibilities

• Writer and Editor: assist with press releases and recaps; copy edit materials; gather information for pieces.
• Sports Information Assistant: help research and distribute notes, statistics and information for FC Cincinnati notes.
• Press Operations Assistant: assist with press operations and media access; help with conferences setup/breakdown; ensure media compliance at game days.
• Corporate Communications: assist with written materials for corporate publicity.
• Other duties as assigned by Communications Manager and staff related to weekly and matchday operations.
