We are seeking a sports coach to join our team at the Y! Our mission is to positively impact the community through athletics, helping children reach their potential, set age-appropriate goals, and change lives within our YMCA community.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 years
• Strong knowledge of instructing in the program area
• Ability to perform activities requiring sustained concentration and attention

Responsibilities

• Conduct YMCA program instruction according to YMCA standards
• Incorporate character development objectives aligned with YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility
• Provide a safe, enjoyable environment for members and participants
• Evaluate skills, complete progress reports, and communicate with parents
• Deliver excellent service, communicate YMCA rules, and be accessible and identifiable
