The Sporting News is hiring aFantasy Football Editor on a fixed-term basis to lead our coverage of fantasy football during the 2025 NFL season.
This hands-on role will be responsible for editing, publishing and updating content to ensure SN delivers a best-in-class experience to fantasy football players (season-long and DFS) seeking advice and information for their draft and lineup decisions.
Were looking for an organized, detail-oriented editor who can blend expert-level knowledge of the NFL, an understanding of SEO best practices and sharp news judgment to drive audience results. In addition to managing our week-by-week fantasy publishing workflow, you will also be part of a team tasked with writing analysis around injuries, the waiver wire and other weekly advice columns impacting start and sit decisions.
Availability to work NFL Sundays and Mondays is required, but you will otherwise be able to set your own daily hours during the NFL season.
This is a remote six-month contract position beginning on or around July 14, 2025 . The role reports into the Senior Editor, NFL.
