Job summary

Scheels in Sioux City is seeking a retail associate to support customers and keep the sales floor stocked. You will unload freight, restock merchandise, assist customers and teammates, and help maintain an orderly store environment.

The ideal candidate has good math skills, strong communication, and the ability to multi‑task in a fast paced setting. Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful, and willingness to work varied hours including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience or training.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, or lift as required; physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from freight and tag, fold, hang and price merchandise for display.
• Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring product to the floor for display.
• Assist customers and salespeople with retrieving and loading purchased product.
• Maintain orderly appearance of work space and surrounding areas; general cleaning and organization.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and professional appearance; work independently and with the team.
