Job summary

Greater Wichita YMCA in Andover, KS seeks an Event Staff / Sport Site Supervisor to support Youth Sports by ensuring a positive member experience. You will set up and tear down event equipment and spaces, help with traffic flow and safety, and maintain facility cleanliness.

Under the Sports Director, you will attend trainings, report incidents, follow YMCA policies, and assist with fundraising efforts. Reliable hours and promptness are essential to deliver a high-quality environment for

Responsibilities

• Setting up and tearing down all event equipment and/or spaces
• Ensuring events start and end on time as scheduled
• Ensuring the safety and security of the facility for all participants
• Maintaining facility cleanliness at all times
• Assisting in traffic and crowd control during events
• Reporting facility or equipment irregularities, unsafe conditions or feedback in writing to supervisor within 24 hours of event
• Following and enforcing all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures
• Reporting all incidents/accidents on the appropriate form as required and provide to supervisor within 24 hours of event
• Attending all required trainings and scheduled meetings
• Maintaining prompt hours and following procedures for absences
• Supporting Strong Community Campaign fundraising
• All other duties as assigned
• Providing a quality support system for YMCA Sports and a positive environment for all program participants and observers
• Under the direction of the Sports Director/Senior Program Director, the Event Staff / Sport Site Supervisor will ensure a quality experience and a positive environment by providing remarkable member experiences for Youth Sports
