Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position involves hands-on involvement with practices and games across all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

1. Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
2. Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
3. Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
4. Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; able to work independently & solve problems
• Awareness & ability to take charge of situations to ensure player safety
• Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and some evenings (~7 weeks season)
