Job summary

i9 Sports Gulfport is seeking a Sports Coordinator to help run game days, enforce league rules, and foster a fun, safe environment for players aged 3–12. You will act as on-field coach and referee, ensuring games flow smoothly and players stay engaged.

The role requires excellent communication, some coaching experience, and weekend availability for the ~7-week season. Candidates must be at least 15 years old and able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage youth.
• Coaching experience in youth sports.
• Motivated self-starter with reliability.
• Ability to work weekends and some evenings during the season.
• Must be at least 15 years old to apply.
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rulebooks, ensuring fun, learning, and safety for all players
• May lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals and skill development
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values
• Keep time and score during the games (officiate/referee)
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
• Help set up and break down fields on game day.

Job Summary
