Job summary

i9 Sports in Tucson, AZ seeks a part-time Sports Coordinator to enhance the player and coach experience, building relationships with players, parents, and coaches, while delivering instruction during practices and games for all ages.

The role involves hands-on coaching, observing, assessing, and assisting coaches to ensure safety, fun, and effective fundamentals across seasons.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.

• Awareness and ability to take charge to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships.
• Availability on weekends and some evenings for the season (~7 weeks).

• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship.

Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands‑on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
