Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects of the experience are delivered. This includes observing, assessing, and assisting coaches with hands-on involvement in practices and games across all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

1. Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
2. Teach & demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values.
3. Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
4. Demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.

Qualifications

1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
3. Highly motivated self-starter; able to work independently & solve problems.
4. Ability to take charge of situations to ensure player safety.
5. Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
6. Flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings for the full season (approximately 7 weeks).
