Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator enhances the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches by building relationships with players, parents, and coaches, and ensuring the instructional aspects are delivered effectively. This hands-on role involves observing, assessing, and assisting coaches during practices and games across all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

1. Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
2. Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values.
3. Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
4. Demonstrate a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and solving problems.
• Aware of and able to take charge of situations to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude with strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and some evenings for approximately 7 weeks.
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.
