Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator enhances the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches by building relationships with players, parents, and coaches, and ensuring the delivery of quality instruction. This hands-on role involves observing, assessing, and assisting coaches during practices and games across all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

1. Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
2. Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values.
3. Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
4. Demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
3. Highly motivated self-starter; able to work independently.
4. Awareness and ability to ensure player safety.
5. Positive attitude and strong relationship-building skills.
6. Ability to work weekends and some evenings for the full season (approximately 7 weeks).
