Compensation: Commission Only – Unlimited Earning Potential! 1099 Commission

Are you a self-motivated, outgoing professional with a passion for building business relationships? The East Lake County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic Sponsorship Salesperson to help us grow our community impact by securing sponsorships for our events and programs.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and engage local businesses and organizations for sponsorship opportunities
• Sell event and program sponsorships that align with our Chamber’s business goals
• Maintain relationships with sponsors and ensure excellent communication
• Collaborate with the Chamber President/CEO to meet sales goals and promote Chamber events

What We’re Looking For

• Proven sales or fundraising experience (B2B preferred)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills
• Knowledge of East Lake County and surrounding area’s business community is a big plus
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
• Passion for local business and community growth
• This position requires personally visiting local area businesses to garner sponsorships for the East Lake Co. Chamber of Commerce
• Resident of the Central Florida vicinity, willing to travel to meet with potential sponsors

The East Lake County Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)(6) Not-For-Profit organization. We produce various events throughout the year, in addition to our annual Chamber Memberships. These events require various levels of Sponsorship/Marketing opportunities to fully produce big successful events! While some of the "work" to be done within this position can be completed via phone and/or email, an in-person meeting will be necessary most of the time. The "remote" part of the Job Description refers to the fact that the applicant does not need to always be "in the office", but WILL need to report to the CEO as arranged upon hiring.
