We deliver high-impact learning experiences through our signature events, including the Referee Ready Camp and Referee Ready Summit. Our mission is to elevate the officiating community through education, exposure, and mentorship.

Position Summary:
Referee Ready is seeking a motivated and results-driven independent contractor to lead our sponsorship and partnership development efforts. The contractor will be focused on identifying, negotiating, and closing revenue-generating deals tied to our upcoming April events: the Referee Ready Camp and Summit. This is a high-impact, short-term opportunity ideal for a self-starter with a strong network and proven experience in sales or partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue potential sponsors and partners aligned with Referee Ready’s brand and mission.

Negotiate and close partnership agreements that drive value for both the sponsor and the organization.

Focus on securing $100,000+ in total deal volume during the contract term.

Deliver regular progress updates and maintain professional communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Uphold confidentiality of sensitive business information.

Assume full responsibility for deal development and execution, including all related expenses.

Performance-Based Incentives:

Earn a 25% commission on all deals closed during the contract period.

Opportunity to earn a 30% commission based on performance and full completion of contract terms.

Requirements:

Proven track record in sponsorship sales, partnerships, or business development.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet ambitious goals in a short timeframe.

Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

Availability to commit to the 90-day engagement and prioritize Referee Ready’s two April events.

Contract Terms:

This is an independent contractor role; the contractor is responsible for all taxes and expenses.

Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days’ written notice.

Commissions are honored for deals closed before termination and for deals in progress finalized within 7 days of termination.
