Job summary

Wellington International offers a Sponsorship Intern position for a seasonal term from September through mid-April at our Wellington, FL showgrounds. The role supports the Sponsorship Department with administrative duties, event materials, and sponsor activations.

The internship requires strong organizational skills, good written and verbal communication, and basic Canva/Excel/Microsoft Office proficiency. On-site work is required, with a busy weekend schedule during the season.

Qualifications

• Higher education strongly preferred.
• Must be highly organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with equestrian sports preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Canva, Excel, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & positive attitude.
• Work Schedule is 5 or 6 days a week during the season (including weekends).
• Work Location is on-site.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the organization and management of sponsorship assets & deliverables.
• Help manage organization of prizes, promotional materials, and sponsorship collateral.
• Maintain running inventory of photos of banners, sponsorship activations, and other promotions around the showgrounds.
• Help organize, inventory, and install banners and printed materials.
• Assist sponsorship team in liaising with other departments to support sponsor activations.
• Assist with sponsor class presentations.
• Help organize and distribute sponsor assets around the showgrounds.
• Help update weekly photo and video logs.
• Help organize presentation schedules & work with sponsorship team to create & coordinate presentation opportunities with sponsors.
• Organize and prepare all sponsorship report material.
• Assist sponsorship team in creating sponsorship reports.
• Handle a wide variety of administrative and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
