Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Central PA is seeking a Fundraising Coordinator for Special Events who will manage sponsorship development, outreach, and stewardship. The role reports to the Special Events Manager and emphasizes independent outreach, strong organization, and compassionate service to families during medical care.

You will maintain sponsorship records, track payments, and support event logistics, ensuring adherence to guidelines and internal processes while building productive relationships

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of professional fundraising, sales, or community engagement experience.
• Prior nonprofit or sponsorship experience – strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward sponsors for RMH Central PA signature events.
• Initiate outreach to sponsors via email, phone, online meetings, or in-person visits.
• Draft sponsorship requests and maintain sponsor database.
• Regularly attend networking events to develop new connections and increase visibility.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Engagement Coordinator to determine sponsor fit for the organization.
• Research local Central Pennsylvania businesses and philanthropic individuals to build a pipeline of prospects.
• Stay up-to-date on fundraising practices through seminars, webinars, etc.
• Additional outreach and engagement activities as assigned.
