Sponsorship Coordinator - Part Time

JOB PURPOSE

This part-time position is responsible for sponsorship benefit fulfillment and supporting the Director of Investor Relations with administrative tasks related to sponsor relationship management. This role will work closely with the events team to ensure proper sponsor recognition and benefit delivery across all Chamber programs and events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sponsorship Sales Support
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Investor Relations in the sales process of sponsorship sales
  • Invoice sponsorships
  • Track sponsorship sales
  • Coordinate sponsorship sales prospects with Director of Investor Relations, SVP of Customer Experience, and other stakeholders
  • Support the Director of Investor Relations in post-event follow-up of sponsorship sales
Member Engagement
  • Support in sponsorship marketing proposals with the Director of Investor Relations
  • Coordinate with Customer Success Managers to lead event overviews for customer calls
  • Develop event sponsorship overviews for members upon request
Invoicing and Payment
  • Ensure sponsorship invoices are issued promptly
  • Follow up on outstanding payments
  • Coordinate with all internal stakeholder teams to make sure revenue is collected
Database & CRM Responsibilities
  • Become a super-user of Salesforce and Blackthorn (Chamber CRM member database) for sponsor relationship management
  • Coordinate with events coordinator on sponsorship benefits
  • Track sponsorship commitments, payment status, and benefit delivery
  • Administrative Support
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Investor Relations
  • Assist with sponsor communications and follow-up activities
  • Help maintain sponsor recognition across Chamber communications platforms
  • Support sponsor stewardship activities and relationship building efforts
Other
  • Additional duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • One to three years' previous administrative experience preferred
  • Pro-business beliefs that are generally aligned with those of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce
  • Advanced administrative skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Salesforce knowledge and experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills necessary
  • Must possess proficient business writing skills and data entry skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Contribute positively within a strong team environment
  • Experience with sponsorship management or fulfillment is a plus
  • Marketing or communications background helpful but not required
WORKING CONDITIONS

Business office environment with professional work attire required. Flexibility to attend occasional Chamber events for sponsorship recognition purposes may be required, typically planned in advance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical job requirements include sitting at a desk (80% of the time); lifting up to 20 pounds may be required to perform job duties.

Salary/Hourly Range

$23.00 – $27.00/hour
