Job summary

University of North Carolina Charlotte is seeking a Sponsored Research Reporting & Systems Administrator to manage reporting for sponsored programs and collaborate with IT financial systems on lifecycle management.

You will generate lifecycle reports, ensure data integrity, assist with testing, and provide technical support to the Division of Research to enable accurate decision-making and enhanced reporting across the campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in research administration, business systems analysis, information technology, financial systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Data Reporting & Business Systems Lead Analyst within the Research Development & Engagement Office, the Sponsored Research Reporting & Systems Administrator will be responsible for reporting related to sponsored research for the institution.
• Generate lifecycle sponsored program reports including proposal and award tracking and reporting, UNC System office reporting, financial reporting, and ad hoc reporting.
• Collaborate with OneIT and campus stakeholders to resolve data reporting and system issues in Banner, including Data Integrity and PIFA reports.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve reporting needs and streamline data entry processes.
