Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with transcript is required.
• Two years accounting experience or a Master’s degree in lieu of experience.
• Ability to interpret sponsor terms and ensure proper financial treatment.

Responsibilities

• Establishs awards from the abstract and ensure accurate setup.
• Monitors expenditures for allowability, allocability, and sponsor terms.
• Prepares and submits accurate financial reports by sponsor deadlines.
• Reviews and certifies invoices and financial reports within delegated authority.
• Reviews cost transfers for documentation and allowability.
• Identifies and resolves financial errors, deficits, and unreconciled items.
• Reconciles project expenditures and resolves commitments and receivables.
• Verifies final effort certification and cost share documentation.
• Advises PIs on sponsored award financial requirements and compliance.
