Job summary

Precision Today is hiring 3rd & 4th year sponsored plumbing apprentices in Illinois with a qualifying sponsorship program. Earn up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus and advance toward becoming a licensed plumber through hands-on experience on residential service and installation projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of documented plumbing experience through an approved sponsored plumbing apprenticeship program.
• Hands-on experience with residential plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
• General understanding of plumbing diagnostics, repairs, and/or installations.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and willingness to continue learning.
• Ability to follow direction and work effectively alongside experienced Licensed Plumbers.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Licensed Plumbers on residential service calls and installation projects.
• Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing residential plumbing systems.
• Install, replace, and service water heaters, fixtures, piping, drains, sump pumps, and other residential plumbing equipment.
• Assist with larger plumbing installations and replacements from start to finish.
• Perform plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations under proper supervision.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide friendly customer service.
• Maintain clean, organized tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Complete assigned work safely and efficiently while following Illinois plumbing codes and company safety procedures.
• Communicate with dispatch, management, and team members throughout the day.
• Participate in ongoing training and hands‑on development opportunities.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable working with tablets and mobile dispatch technology (ServiceTitan experience preferred)
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment as required
• Ability to successfully complete the hiring process, including assessments, interviews, background checks, and drug screening
