Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Sterile and Packaging Operations Technician to support startup and routine operations at a vaccine manufacturing facility. You will focus on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment, support environmental monitoring, and assist in installation and qualification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 5+ years industrial maintenance or 2-year technical degree with 3+ years experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; able to read electrical prints, P&IDs, and control diagrams.
• Ability to work independently, in aseptic environments, and support multi-shift schedules.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on formulation, filling, inspection, and packaging equipment.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent, 5+ years industrial maintenance or 2-year technical degree with 3+ years experience; strong mechanical, electrical troubleshooting skills; able to read electrical prints, P&IDs, and control diagrams; capable of working independently and in aseptic environments; willing to support multi-shift schedules.

Preferred

experience in vaccine or pharmaceutical GMP settings, aseptic filling, serialization, or pharmaceutical packaging; knowledge of lean manufacturing, CAPA, and MES systems; proficiency with machine shop tools and technical writing.
