Job summary

CACI International Inc. in Columbia, MD seeks a Splunk Software Engineer-TS/SCI with Poly to join a cross-domain security team. You will be a Linux-focused generalist, handle Splunk analytics, and drive automation with Salt and Terraform. Expect work on CDS and high-assurance boundary technologies on mission-critical systems.

The role requires strong Linux admin skills, hardware management with iDRAC, and Splunk dashboard experience in secure environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux system administration experience with OS installation and configuration.
• Experience managing hardware with iDRAC (BIOS/firmware updates and RAID).
• Ability to troubleshoot cross-domain issues across OS, hardware, networks, and apps.
• Proficiency with UNIX CLI tools for file manipulation and transfer (tar, split, checksums).
• Experience with Salt, Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform for automation.
• Experience with CDS or other high-assurance security technologies.
• Experience supporting or developing Splunk dashboards and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Linux expert, handling OS install, config, user management, and network settings.
• Manage hardware lifecycle with iDRAC, BIOS/firmware updates, and RAID configuration.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across operating systems, hardware, networks, data flows, and apps.
• Build and manipulate data using UNIX utilities and support constrained transfers.
• Support automation workflows using Salt and related tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Build, deploy, or maintain Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) or similar high-assurance tech.
• Act as Splunk SME for apps, dashboards, data routing, and analytics.
