Own The Role:

SP6 is seeking a full-time consultant to join our professional services team in North America. This position involves helping customers with the architecture and hands-on administration/engineering of Splunk, assisting Fortune 2000 customers in maximizing their platform. Ideally, this individual will have a Security background focusing on helping customers with Splunk Enterprise Security.

Consultants will work on various use cases across different industries, utilizing Splunk Enterprise and premium apps.

How You'll Drive Success:

• Drive complex deployments of Splunk while collaborating with customers to solve unique problems across a variety of use cases.
• Leverage previous experiences, share best practices, and create innovative solutions to maximize customers’ value of Splunk and aid in user adoption.
• Provide knowledge transfer to customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop product expertise in Splunk premium apps.
• Continually extend domain expertise in IT Security & Observability.

To Be Successful:

• Hold an active Splunk Core Certified Consultant certification.
• 4+ years of Splunk experience.
• 5-10 years of overall industry experience as a technology practitioner (in IT Operations and Security).
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and Risk Based Alerting (RBA).
• Experience in requirements gathering around the Splunk tool, including documenting requirements, requirement analysis, and product testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
