Splunk ITSI Architect / Lead Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk ITSI Architect / Lead Engineer to lead the
architecture, design, and implementation of an advanced monitoring solution for the IRIS
platform. This senior technical role is responsible for defining the overall Splunk IT Service
Intelligence (ITSI) strategy, designing scalable service trees and KPI models, and ensuring
the performance and reliability of the monitoring solution in a complex, enterprise-scale,
and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of the Splunk ITSI solution, including
development of service trees, KPI models, health score frameworks, and integration
architecture.
• Design scalable, modular, and maintainable monitoring frameworks aligned with
industry best practices and enterprise standards such as LUSA Gold.
• Oversee solution performance, scalability, and security to meet enterprise SLAs and
compliance requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including administrators, core
consultants, business analysts, and project managers to translate business and
technical requirements into robust architectural designs.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and governance
policies for Splunk ITSI deployment and operations.
• Lead the technical implementation efforts, guiding configuration, testing,
deployment, and production support activities.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members on advanced Splunk
ITSI features and architecture principles.
• Develop comprehensive architectural documentation, technical specifications, and
deliver presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitate architecture review sessions, workshops, and technical discussions with
internal teams and clients.
Required Qualifications:
• Certifications:
o Must hold Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect certification.
• Experience:
o Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering
Splunk ITSI-based solutions in enterprise environments.
o Proven experience working with regulated or mission-critical clients.
o Demonstrated expertise in service tree design, KPI and health score
modeling, and complex system integrations.
• Technical Skills:
o Deep understanding of Splunk ITSI modules, Splunk Cloud architecture, and
related monitoring technologies.
o Strong knowledge of infrastructure and application monitoring, event
correlation, and analytics.
o Experience with secure data integration, role-based access control, and
cloud deployment architectures.
o Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
• Soft Skills:
o Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality designs on time.
Qualifications:
• Experience with monitoring maturity models such as LUSA Gold or equivalent.
• Prior leadership of multi-disciplinary technical teams in cloud-based monitoring
projects.
• Ability to conduct workshops and facilitate architecture review sessions.
