Job summary
MiraTech Group is seeking a Junior Observability Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise observability across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments. You will help improve system visibility, reliability, and operational efficiency through telemetry, dashboards, and automation.
The role requires hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, plus strong AWS/GCP knowledge and Python scripting abilities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in Observability Engineering or SRE.
- Hands-on with Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana or OpenTelemetry.
- Strong AWS and GCP knowledge; cloud-native architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end observability across apps, infra and cloud.
- Develop dashboards, alerts, and telemetry frameworks for real-time visibility.
- Build automation to eliminate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Enable runbooks, self-healing automation, and automated incident triage.
- Define SLIs/SLOs and alerting strategies to improve reliability.
- Reduce MTTD/MTTR via telemetry-driven insights.
- Implement proactive monitoring, anomaly detection, and predictive alerting.
- Leverage AIOps for alert correlation and incident response.
- Integrate observability with CI/CD, cloud services, and ServiceNow.
