BCforward is seeking a Network / System Engineer III to support enterprise infrastructure in Pennington, NJ. The role focuses on Splunk expertise, Linux systems, storage, and data center operations within a contract framework of approximately 10 months.

The ideal candidate will lead technical projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver scalable, high-availability solutions on schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with infrastructure, Linux, and networks.
• Strong Linux system administration background and server experience.
• Experience leading technical projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects for infrastructure provisioning, security initiatives, data center migrations, and EOL programs.
• Lead meetings and communicate technical details and project status to stakeholders.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines with quality deliverables.
• Build trusted relationships with business partners and engineering teams.
• Analyze and communicate capacity management tasks and outcomes.
• Communicate standards and best practices to Lines of Business and tech teams.
• Coordinate Linux server builds, upgrades, patching, and ongoing support.
• Support clustering, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
