Job summary

CDW LLC seeks a Senior Splunk Engineer to design, implement, and manage Splunk solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments to enable advanced data analysis, monitoring, and visualization.

The role requires 8+ years hands‑on Splunk experience and an active TS/SCI clearance, with onsite work at the National Maritime Intelligence Center in Suitland, MD. You will develop data onboarding, SPL queries, dashboards, and alerts aligned with security and operations needs.

What You Will Do

• Install, configure, and manage Splunk environments acrosson-premiseand cloud infrastructures.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensureoptimalsystem performance and security.
• Monitor Splunk system health and troubleshoot issues related to performance, configuration, and connectivity.
• Work closely with application owners, network engineers, and other stakeholders toidentifyrelevant data sources.
• Develop andmaintaindata onboarding processes, including parsing, indexing, and normalization of logs and metrics from diverse systems.
• Write andoptimizeregular expressions, data transforms, and event types to ensureaccuratedata ingestion.
• Create complex Splunk queries using Search Processing Language (SPL) to perform analysis and extract meaningful insights.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and alerts tailored to operational, security, and business requirements.

What We Expect of You

• Must have active TS/ SCI security clearance
• Onsite at the National Maritime Intelligence Center at 4251 Suitland Road, Suitland, MD 20746
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience with Splunk administration, implementation, and data analysis, preferably in a medium‑to‑large enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, is a plus.
  Pay range: $190,000 - $240,000 depending on experience and skill set
  Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials
