Job summary

Epic Systems Corporation seeks a Splunk Engineer to optimize and maintain our cloud Splunk installation on Madison-area campus, with relocation support. You will enable teams across IT operations, Security, R&D, and BI to realize Splunk's full potential.

The role requires 1+ year Splunk admin experience, familiarity with Cribl, and knowledge of CI/CD, GitLab, and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible/Terraform). Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree
1+ year of Splunk Administration experience. Cribl experience is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD concepts and technologies. GitLab experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and technologies. Experience with Ansible and Terraform is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Optimize and maintain Epic's cloud Splunk installation and help teams realize the platform's potential.
Collaborate with IT operations, Security, R&D, and BI to deploy meaningful Splunk use cases.
Identify and implement new Splunk use cases to improve operations and analytics.
Support relocation for the Madison campus and contribute to scalable cloud solutions.
