Job summary

CDW is seeking a senior Splunk engineer to design, implement, and manage Splunk environments across on-prem and cloud infrastructures. You will optimize data ingestion and build dashboards, alerts, and reports to meet operations, security, and business needs.

Applicants should have at least 8 years of hands-on Splunk experience in medium to large enterprises, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and be willing to travel 10–20% to Phoenix, AZ. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Splunk in medium-to-large enterprise environments.
• Proficient in creating SPL queries, data transformations, and event types.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Install, configure, and manage Splunk environments acrosson-premiseand cloud infrastructures.

• Write andoptimizeregular expressions, data transforms, and event types to ensureaccuratedata ingestion.
• Create complex Splunk queries using Search Processing Language (SPL) to perform analysis and extract meaningful insights.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and alerts tailored to operational, security, and business requirements.

What We Expect of You

• Must be flexible for 10-20% travel to Phoenix, AZ as needed
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Splunk administration, implementation, and data analysis, preferably in a medium-to-large enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.

Pay range: $190,000 - $240,000 depending on experience and skill set
