Countryside YMCA in Clarksville, OH is seeking a Split Shift Childcare Teacher to create a safe, engaging environment where kids learn, grow, and thrive. You will help plan activities, lead developmentally appropriate lessons, and build strong relationships with children and families.

Full-time and part-time opportunities exist; full-time includes benefits and a free family YMCA membership, while part-time offers a complimentary individual membership and program discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead activities in a classroom setting.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Maintain attendance and child records.
• Follow YMCA policies, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services requirements, Step Up to Quality standards, and USDA guidelines.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations to ensure safety at all times.
• Help maintain classroom supplies, equipment, and organization.
• Model respect for others and YMCA property.

What You’ll Do
