Job summary

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, seeks a Spiritual Wellness Guide to lead spiritual wellness programming for residents across multiple care settings. You will work under the Spiritual Wellness Manager and Director of Wellness to enhance overall wellbeing for seniors in a mission-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has active ministry experience, a pastoral mindset, and the ability to support residents, families, and staff

Qualifications

• One to three years of active ministry in church or healthcare settings.
• Bachelor's Degree in pastoral ministry, theology, or related field.
• Theological understanding and respect towards all faith expressions.
• Ability to work with older adults, the sick, and the dying.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate programming designed by Spiritual Wellness Manager.
• Welcome residents; listen, offer comfort, and pray with residents.
• Provide spiritual resources; gather residents for mass, prayer services, and activities.
• Plan, coordinate, lead worship services, Bible studies, rituals, and prayer services.
• Maintain inventory for Mass, liturgical, and prayer supplies.
• Coordinate with volunteers to create liturgical environment.
• Support families facing memory loss, illness, and end-of-life decisions.
