Job summary

BAYADA Hospice is seeking a Spiritual Counselor to perform home visits across Tucson, Arizona. The role supports end-of-life care as part of an experienced hospice team focused on assessments, education, and symptom management.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, providing spiritual and emotional support, and timely documentation. Travel to cover the office area is required; a Bachelor's degree is required and a Master's in Counseling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree in Counseling preferred or divinity school graduate.
• One year of experience in spiritual counseling in healthcare, hospice or palliative care preferred.
• Willing to travel within the coverage area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adhere to the client's spiritual care plan.
• Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and family members.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must demonstrate an appropriate attitude.
• Participate in providing bereavement services to family members, referral sources, and the community.

BAYADA Hospice has an immediate opening for a Spiritual Counselor. This position will be performing home visits throughout Tucson, Arizona.

This individual will be a member of an experienced hospice care team that provides assessments, education and symptom management related to end of life care.

Hospice / care experience preferred, along with experience making home visits.

Responsibilities for a Hospice Spiritual Counselor include:

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and family members.

• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must demonstrate an appropriate attitude.

Qualifications for a Hospice Spiritual Counselor include:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in Counseling preferred or have graduated from an approved divinity school.
• One year of experience in a spiritual counseling capacity in a health care setting, preferably hospice or palliative care.
• Must be willing to travel coverage area of office.
