Provides spiritual care and counseling with pediatric, families, and staff in crises of illness and/or trauma. Builds supportive relationships with pediatric patients and families during their healthcare journeys. Provides sound management of department and resources..
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides Spiritual Care with Staff and Faculty.
• Act as a liaison to community clergy and congregations.
• Provides spiritual care with patients and families.
• Ensure the most effective operation of the department through program development, process improvement and coordination of process across functions.
• Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
• Adult Learning (Intermediate): Demonstrates mastery of the Adult Learning skill in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering products and services using the Adult Learning skill without requiring support and instruction from others. Able to train and educate by setting the example, giving technical instruction, providing leadership, and generally raising the level of performance of others while on the job.
• Spiritual Knowledge (Intermediate): Demonstrates mastery of spiritual knowledge in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering spiritual knowledge services without requiring support and instruction from others. Able to train and educate by setting the example, giving technical instruction, providing leadership, and generally raising the level of performance of others while on the job.
• Crisis Intervention (Intermediate): Demonstrates mastery of crisis intervention in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering results without requiring support and instruction from others.
