Job summary

The University of Texas at Dallas seeks a Coordinator of Spirit Programs to lead the Comet Spirit Programs, overseeing cheer and dance teams, mascots, and related activities. You will shape strategy, coordinate performances, and promote school spirit while collaborating with campus partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications include 3-5 years coaching experience, knowledge of national rules, safety guidelines, and AACCA certification; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three to five years successful coaching experience.
• Expertise in technical aspects of cheer or dance with respect to national rules.
• Accommodate safety guidelines and maintain AACCA Certification.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Comet Spirit Programs and related teams.
• Develop annual goals and strategic initiatives for spirit programs.
• Coordinate team schedules, practices, travel, equipment, and uniforms.
• Develop program budgets and monitor expenditures with leadership.
• Lead choreography and game-day performances and events.
• Recruit and develop prospective student-athletes and staff.
