Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. seeks a production scheduling professional to determine labor and machine resources, set time standards, and monitor capacity to support the production plan. The role requires building and using time standards and reporting on capacity constraints to overcome them.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance. A Bachelor’s Degree and lean-methodology familiarity are preferred, with strong analytical and communication

Overview

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units (\"Spirit Commercial\"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Determines the labor and machine resources required to accomplish production tasks


• Uses time standards to establish, measure, monitor, and adjust the resource capacity limits or levels necessary to execute the production plan


• Develops and uses time standards


• Reports on capacity constraints that may hinder completion of the production planand provides methodologies to overcome those constraints


• Performs detail shop scheduling and reporting to ensure production deliverables are completed to support downstream customers

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of relevant experience


• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Mid-Level (Level 3): 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience


• Bachelor's Degree


• Familiarity with Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand Flow, Single Piece Flow, Five S's, Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Continuous Improvement Process, Kaizen, SPC, Six Sigma and Communication Tools, Statistical Problem Solving, ISO, AS-91000, ISO-14001 or similar

Summary Pay Range (Associate - Level 2): $56,500 - $86,650

Summary Pay Range (Mid-Level - Level 3): $71,500 - $109,600

Security Clearance:
