Job summary

TriMas Corporation is seeking a Spinner Operator for the Longview, TX facility. This on-site, full-time hourly role supports production through operating the spinner line, tooling changes, and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include performing SPC, reading drawings, and maintaining safe, organized work areas. Candidates should be able to work on 1st or 2nd shift with adherence to ISO policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, interpret and apply documented procedures.
• Basic math and measurement accuracy are essential.
• Good reasoning and problem-solving for in-process issues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capable of collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate Spinner machine on 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Change spinner tooling as needed.
• Complete SPC charts for spun products.
• Use gauges and inspection tools to verify dimensions.
• Identify defects and scrap items per procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report issues promptly.
