POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a full-time position in the Department of Neurosurgery & Brain Repair. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their clinical practice at Lakeland Regional Medical Center (LRMC). The individual may also have the opportunity to conduct clinical research. Candidates must have an M.D. degree and hold a Florida medical license or be eligible for one. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with qualifications.

Must be fellowship trained in spinal surgery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Outpatient practice/clinic 1-2 days per week, including AM/PM sessions at Lakeland Neurosciences Center.
• Inpatient care 3-4 days per week at LRMC, treating patients with injuries or diseases/disorders of the brain, spinal cord, spinal column, and peripheral nerves.
• Complete clinical obligations such as chart documentation, patient follow-up, and billing.
