Job summary

Essentia Health in Brainerd, MN seeks an MD or DO skilled in Orthopedic Surgery for a spine-focused role within a well-established group. You’ll join a team of five surgeons, with opportunities to participate in ownership of an outpatient surgery center and contribute to the development of a Musculoskeletal Center.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, flexible distribution of clinic hours, and hospital consultations which form a smaller portion of the workload.

Qualifications

• MD or DO candidates must be BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or eligibility required/anticipated.
• Clinical excellence and teamwork in a busy orthopedic practice.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team of 5 orthopedic surgeons.
• Ownership potential in an outpatient surgery center.
• Clinic hours include 32+ contact hours over 4 days per week with flexibility to distribute over 5 days.
