Job summary

Essentia Health in Brainerd, MN seeks an MD or DO skilled in Orthopedic Surgery for a spine-focused role within a well-established group. You’ll join a team of five surgeons, with opportunities to participate in ownership of an outpatient surgery center and contribute to the development of a Musculoskeletal Center.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, flexible distribution of clinic hours, and hospital consultations which form a smaller portion of the workload.

Qualifications

• MD or DO candidates must be BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery or eligibility required/anticipated.
• Clinical excellence and teamwork in a busy orthopedic practice.

• Outpatient: Anticipated weekly volume of 75 office patients.
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications: Accepting MD or DO candidates who are BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery.

Salary & Compensation

COMPENSATION $887,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
