Job summary

Ascension is a leading nonprofit Catholic health system seeking a physician specialized in Orthopedic Spine Surgery to join an established team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This employed role leverages a strong referral base and full-system resources to deliver high-quality spine care within a busy hospital network.

The physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using advanced clinical skills, participate in clinical initiatives, and collaborate with 1 physician and 2 APPs in a mixed practice

Qualifications

• MD/DO with prescriptive authority licensed in OK.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/Red Cross accepted).

• Recommend, champion, and actively participate in clinical initiatives designed to elevate the quality of patient care, improve safety, and enhance cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients within your assigned area using advanced clinical skills.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
