Job summary

The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery and WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute seeks a Spine Neurosurgeon to join the Wheeling Hospital practice. The role includes a broad general neurosurgery scope with planned growth of a Level 2 neurotrauma service in collaboration with Morgantown's tertiary centers.

Candidates must have an MD or DO, neurosurgery residency, BE/BC in neurosurgery, and be eligible for WV medical licensure.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Completed neurosurgery residency.
• BE/BC in neurosurgery.
• Eligible for state medical licensure in WV.

Responsibilities

• Provide general neurosurgery care across WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital.
• Contribute to establishing a Level 2 neurotrauma service expansion.
• Pursue opportunities for neurotrauma or critical care training if desired.
