Job summary

Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois is seeking a Medical Spine APP to join our Brain and Spine team. You will provide clinic-based care, perform initial consultations, follow-ups, and patient education in collaboration with neurosurgery and spine specialists.

Flexible 8-hour weekday shifts, autonomous practice, and opportunities to contribute to a growing program with five neurosurgeons and multiple spine specialists. Illinois PA or NP licensure and a Master’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Illinois PA or NP licensure.
• Experience with neurological conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ongoing patient care with spine physicians, including initial consultations and follow-ups.
• Provide patient and family education in the outpatient spine/neurosurgery setting.
• Function with a high level of autonomy in clinic with a multidisciplinary team.
